What you pay, and what happens if you leave.

Sodalis is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to apply, to pay, or to use the site. By paying, you confirm you meet that requirement.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. The amount you owe, and whether it is a one-time fee or a recurring membership, is shown clearly at checkout before you confirm. By paying, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge that amount.

Applying to Sodalis includes a fee, shown at checkout. It supports the hand vetting that keeps the room safe and small. Because review begins as soon as you submit, the application fee is generally not refundable, including if your application is declined. We will always tell you the amount before you pay.

If your membership is a recurring subscription, it renews automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout, until you cancel. We will charge the renewal through Stripe on each renewal date. If a price ever changes, we will tell members before the change takes effect.

You can cancel from your billing settings at any time. When you cancel a recurring membership, it stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. Canceling stops future charges. It does not, on its own, delete your account or your data. To do that, see our Privacy Policy.

The application fee is generally not refundable, as explained above. For recurring membership, we do not provide partial refunds for time already elapsed in a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, or something went wrong, write to us at curators@sodalis.club and we will look into it in good faith. Where the law in your location gives you a refund right that cannot be waived, we honor it.

If a renewal payment fails, we may pause your membership until it is resolved. If you have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can sort it out quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your membership being suspended while we review.

We may update this policy as Sodalis grows. When we do, we update the effective date above and tell members about material changes.
